Join the Windsor Days Parade Entry!

Windsor Garden Club is looking for 10 participants to be in the Windsor Days Parade on Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. to noon. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at Windsor High School (8695 Windsor Road) in the staging area located in the north parking lot. The parade starts promptly at 10 a.m. The parade route winds from WHS down Johnson Street, Windsor River Road, McClelland Drive, and then loops back around to the high school, a route that's about 2 miles long. The parade offers a 60-second performance time at the announcer's stand in front of the Masonic Lodge (371 Windsor River Road) and the grandstand located on McClelland Drive. The Windsor Garden Club has scheduled a bunch of free, fun events for members and their friends through summer 2018. What's happening? Take a look: Saturday, April 14 - Free workshop, "The Spring/Summer Food Garden," hosted by Sonoma County UC Master Gardeners. Windsor Town Green Community Garden, Windsor Road and Joe Rodota Way, Windsor, 10-12 a.m. Potluck following noon-2 p.m. Public is welcome. Bring your own chair and wear your garden shoes and a hat. Windsor Garden Club is moving outdoors for April! Food Gardening Workshop Come join your fellow WGC members, community gardeners and friends for a special food gardening workshop delivered by Sonoma County Master Gardeners. The free event is this Saturday, April 14, in the Town Green Community Garden on Joe Rodota Way in the Town Hall complex starting at 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Put on your garden shoes, bring a hat and a chair and get ready to learn the latest tips on the topic of "The Spring-Summer Food Garden."
