
Come See Carnivores June 10
Carnivorous plant wrangler Damon Collingsworth will be showing off some of his meat-eating plants June 10 in Windsor. Collingsworth is co-owner and manager at California Carnivores nursery in Sebastopol, the largest botanical collection of carnivorous plants on display to the public in the United States. Windsor Garden Club is hosting the free presentation and mini-plant show beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Windsor Senior Center, 9231 Foxwood Drive in Wind


Some Like it Hot Plant Sale May 11
Join the Windsor Garden Club from 12:30-3 p.m. Saturday May 11 in the Town Green Community Garden for the annual "Some Like it Hot" plant sale. You'll find starts of tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, peppers, sunflowers, milkweed, zinnias and more! All is grown right here in Windsor by the Windsor Garden Club in certified organic potting mix. Join the Sonoma County Master Gardeners May 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Town Green Community Garden for a free workshop on summer food gardening.
