This major club fundraiser is set for Sunday, April 17 at Farmer’s Market on the Town Green as part of the Windsor Health and Wellness Earth Day Festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Browse through fairy gardens while you stock up on veggie and flower starts, succulents, beautiful container gardens, and vintage home and garden accents and more. Enter Windsor's 2016 "Art in Bloom" Flower Show

Enter the 2016 "Art in Bloom" Flower Show presented by the Windsor Garden Club and the Town of Windsor! This year's show will offer two judged categories: 1. Fresh Floral Arrangement 2. Succulent Arrangement Prizes will be awarded for Best of Show and First place in each category. All participants will receive a ribbon and will also be entered into a drawing for a free design workshop at Sequoia Floral International led by Lead Designer Jennifer Conn. Behold Butterflies

“If you plant it, they will come.” That’s the philosophy of Julie West, who will be giving a free presentation on “Inviting Butterflies Into Your Garden” March 15 for the Windsor Garden Club. (6:30 p.m. in the main room of the Windsor Senior Center, 9231 Foxwood Drive). West is a former president of California Garden Clubs, Inc. She lives in Sebastopol, and over the past 20 years has turned her five-acre property into a haven for butterflies. Her particular passion are Monarch Butterflies – the beautiful orange and black beauties who migrate thousands of miles every year to spend winters in Mexico and on the California coast. New Greenhouse is Eagle Scout Project

Windsor Eagle Scout Beau Wilson earned his rank and helped build a better downtown by creating a greenhouse for the Town Green Community Garden, managed by the Windsor Garden Club. Beau completed the greenhouse in late February. He built the new greenhouse for the Community, Garden as his Eagle Scout project, and followed it up by building workbenches for the greenhouse as his community service project at Windsor High School. Beau, now a junior at WHS, belongs to Boy Scout Troop 20 in Windsor, and started looking for an Eagle Scout project in 2015.
