Greywater Series Coming to Windsor

Greywater is the rinse water from your laundry machine, shower, tub, and bathroom sink which can be easily (and legally!) rerouted to irrigate your landscape. Greywater is an affordable DIY project that can help homeowners save money and thousands of gallons of water. Come learn all about it this free series, hosted by Daily Acts and the Town of Windsor.

In this informative overview, Daily Acts’ staff will lay out in plain language everything you need to know to decide whether a greywater system is appropriate for your home, plus the basics of system design and installation. The talk will focus primarily on the no-permit-required Laundry-to-Landscape system, including system design; the best plants for irrigating with greywater; costs; codes; and the basics of installation. Greywater Installation Workshop

Saturday, September 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Private Windsor Residence Address shared upon registration

This greywater installation workshop will allow participants to get hands-on experience actually installing a Laundry-to-Landscape system. Participants in this free workshop will walk away with the confidence, skills, and resources to install their own Laundry-to-Landscape system at home. In addition, Town of Windsor water customers who attend this workshop will be eligible for a free Laundry-to-Landscape parts kit valued at $100. Click here for details.
